Product Description

PUR hot melt glue

The Advantages of Our Fire-Resistant Fabric PUR Adhesive

1. Extreme Temperature Resistance & Heat Isolation

Unlike conventional adhesives that fail below 250°C, our advanced PUR adhesive layer resists carbonization at temperatures up to 400°C. It supports aerospace-grade bonding processes to achieve 500°C+ instantaneous heat isolation.

2. High Peel Strength & Anti-Delamination

Solves the critical flaw of reflective layer delamination in traditional heat-resistant materials. It delivers an exceptional peel strength exceeding 12 N/cm (ISO 11339), maintaining structural integrity even after repeated use.

3. Dynamic Durability & Flex Resistance

Creates a resilient, cross-linked thermoset bond capable of withstanding over 100,000 dynamic bending cycles, making it ideal for flexible firefighting and industrial protective garments.

4. Broad Substrate & Functional Layer Compatibility

Engineered to bond functional layers like Nano-Ceramic Coated Aluminum Foil (0.05–0.2 mm), Glass Fiber-Reinforced Silicone Fireproof Cloth, and Carbonized Aramid Felt. It perfectly wets substrates including Aramid 1414 woven fabric, pre-oxidized knitted fabric, basalt fiber cloth, and stainless steel metal fiber blends.

5. Zero Toxic Gas Emissions

Ensures maximum safety during combustion. Toxic gas emissions are strictly limited to CO < 50 ppm and HCN = 0, fully complying with NFPA 1971 and far exceeding GB 8965.1 requirements.

Key Process Description

1. Heating & Application

The PUR hot melt adhesive is heated to the recommended temperature and applied precisely via roller coating or slot-die extrusion, adapting easily to high-performance fire-retardant substrates.

2. Rapid Barrier Integration

During the lamination process, it helps integrate the ceramic microsphere–aluminum foil composite layer rapidly, enabling the formation of a heat-reflective barrier within 0.3 seconds with >95% reflectivity (ASTM E424).

3. Moisture-Curing Action

Reacts chemically with ambient moisture over time to form a 3D cross-linked thermoset network. This prevents the adhesive from re-melting under extreme industrial heat or direct flame exposure.

Benefits in Protective & Industrial Apparel

Firefighting Equipment

Fully complies with EN 469:2020 standards for structural firefighting clothing, achieving a Thermal Protective Performance (TPP) of >35 Cal/cm².

Industrial & Welding Protection

Provides excellent radiant heat blocking and mechanical durability for workers exposed to high-temperature metallurgy and welding sparks.

Military & Specialized Supplies

Ensures robust performance and zero toxic release in harsh combat or emergency response environments.

More information

FAQ

Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?

We are a direct manufacturer. This ensures strict quality control, reliable lead times, and direct technical communication for complex flame-retardant lamination projects.

What fire-resistant substrates can your PUR adhesive bond?

Our adhesive is specifically engineered for high-performance materials, including Aramid 1414, basalt fiber cloth, pre-oxidized flame-retardant knitted fabrics, and aluminum foil composite layers.

How does your PUR adhesive perform under extreme temperatures?

Unlike traditional adhesives that fail below 250°C, our PUR formula resists carbonization up to 400°C and helps achieve 500°C+ instantaneous heat isolation, maintaining a peel strength of >12 N/cm.

Does the adhesive release toxic gases when exposed to fire?

No. It is formulated for zero toxic release. During combustion, emissions are limited to CO < 50 ppm and HCN = 0, complying with stringent NFPA 1971 and EN 469:2020 standards.

What information should I provide for a quotation?

Please share your specific functional layers (e.g., aluminum foil thickness), substrate fabrics, required testing standards (like EN 469 or ASTM E424), line speed, and estimated volume.

Do you provide TDS, SDS, and technical application support?

Yes, we provide comprehensive TDS, SDS, and on-site or remote technical support to ensure the adhesive meets your exact thermal protection and peeling strength requirements.
