MebelExpo Uzbekistan 2026 Recap: Weather-Resistant PUR Adhesives

From April 28 to 30, the Sino-Adhesive team exhibited at WoodTech & MebelExpo Uzbekistan 2026 in Tashkent. Spending three days at Stand A26 talking face-to-face with furniture manufacturers and building material buyers from across Central Asia, one trend became absolutely clear:

The extreme temperature fluctuations in Central Asia are forcing local furniture manufacturers to abandon traditional EVA glues and upgrade to Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) hot melt adhesives.

The Climate Challenge for Woodworking Adhesives

Countries like Uzbekistan experience hot, dry summers and freezing winters. These harsh seasonal shifts put immense stress on the weather resistance of furniture panels and building profiles. Many factory owners at the exhibition told us that traditional adhesives frequently cause their finished products to blister, peel, or crack as the seasons change.

To solve this, Sino-Adhesive highlighted our highly weather-resistant PUR hot melt adhesive series. Unlike standard hot melts, PUR undergoes an irreversible chemical cross-linking reaction as it cures. Once fully cured, it will not re-melt in high heat or become brittle in the freezing cold, fundamentally eliminating delamination issues caused by extreme climates.
