Key Processes Description
1) Application Method
PUR hot melt adhesive is melted at a typical temperature range of 90–170℃ and applied as a thin, consistent film through roller coating or slot nozzles to either the substrate or the covering material.
2) Initial Bonding & Fast Setup
As the PUR adhesive cools, it forms a fast initial bond that holds the laminate in place immediately.
3) Moisture-Curing Action
Unlike traditional EVA glue, PUR reacts chemically with moisture in the air and substrates over 1–5 days, forming a three-dimensional cross-linked thermoset structure.
4) Irreversible Bonding
Once cured, the bond becomes thermoset and cannot be re-melted, providing exceptional resistance to high temperatures, moisture, and cleaning agents.
